Most hydrocarbon production in the Illinois Basin is from Mississipian-age units. Zuppemann and Keith (1988) provided a map showing the locations of gas and oil fields in Cambrian/Ordovician units, which was used in the GIS. This map shows that oil and gas production from the Cambrian/Ordovician units is limited and probably not a major concern for CO<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>2<\/SPAN><\/SPAN> sequestration.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
