Description: This dataset represents Wyoming oil and gas fields. They were developed through the use of a WSGS-designed ArcGIS model. The model incorporates large well datasets, uses iterative spatial analyses to mimic a hand-drawn aesthetic, and provides standardization and accuracy to this and future updates.The layer consists of 1382 named oil and gas fields within Wyoming, including the Powder River Basin coalbed methane field.
