Description: The Lyons Sandstone has very low matrix porosity but fair to good fracture porosity. In outcrop, the porous beds are discontinuous, but in the subsurface, according to oilfield data, Lyons porosities range from 4.4 to 26.1 percent. (Levandowski and others, 1973)
