Hydrocarbons have been produced from reservoirs of Cambrian, Ordovician (Red River), Silurian, Devonian (Pre-Bakken–Post-Prairie Salt, Pre-Prairie Middle Devonian and Silurian, Mississipian (Madison), Pennsylvanian, and Triassic ages.
