Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>In 2014 a set of geologic maps of the United States were created displaying the location of major formations for salt deposits, sedimentary basins, major oil and gas fields, and hard rock outcrops that could be used for subsurface hydrogen storage (Lord et al. 2014; Figure 2). The maps only covered the contiguous states.
