Description: The State Core Facility Status layer is a a web-hosted feature dataset available through an ArcGIS online REST Service which contains polygons showing the types of core facilities located in each state. It has state outlines labeled by their core repository status, indicating whether the state has a state, multi-state, or global facility. It is part of the RokBase Core Facility Data Collection v1.0 which is an aggregation of information on the locations and collections of geologic core facilities in the United States. The broader data collection contains two spatial files, their corresponding attribute tables within a catalog, and an interactive web map and dashboard. It is intended to be used for research and comparison purposes, see full disclaimer and credits. Please contact NETL if revisions / corrections can be made to improve this dataset.
